In the customer’s own words

Things don’t always go to plan on the day. What matters is how the people on the job handle it. Anju’s review, word for word:

★★★★★
“Lenny came to deliver the toilet trailer for our garden party. We wanted it in the back garden, Lenny tried his utmost best but, unfortunately the width of our gate was marginally small and he wasn’t able to get the trailer through. But Lenny never gave up and continued to find different ways, from using his car or manually trying to push the trailer into the garden. Eventually I asked him to put it in the front garden, to which he kindly placed it. Throughout Lenny stayed calm, polite and respectful. If we have an event again we will definitely use Toilet hire near me.”

What happened

Anju booked a luxury toilet trailer for a garden party at home in Slough and wanted it in the back garden.

When Lenny arrived with the trailer, the side gate turned out to be just too narrow. He didn’t leave it at that. He tried different angles, used his car to manoeuvre it and even tried pushing the trailer through by hand.

When it was clear it wouldn’t fit, Anju chose the front garden instead, and Lenny set the trailer up there. The party went ahead with a working trailer, and Anju left a five-star review.

Why we’re proud of this one

  • Professional under pressure. On party day, with guests on the way, Lenny stayed calm, polite and respectful.
  • Didn’t give up. He tried every reasonable way to get the trailer where the customer wanted it.
  • Let the customer decide. When it couldn’t be done, he set up where Anju chose, with no fuss.
  • Honest about it. The plan changed, and we’d rather show that than pretend every job is perfect.

Four checks before a trailer goes in a garden

This is why we ask about access before a trailer booking. Two minutes with a tape measure saves a lot of pushing on the day.

  1. Measure the gateway

Measure the narrowest point, post to post, not the gate itself. Include any side passage the trailer has to go down.

  2. Pick a second spot

Decide where it can go if the first choice doesn’t work: the front garden, the drive or a side lawn.

  3. Check the ground

Trailers need level, firm ground. Avoid soft lawn after rain and steep slopes.

  4. Find the power

Most luxury trailers need a power supply nearby for the lights and pump. Tell us where your nearest socket is.
