Toilet hire for a busy seaside town
From late spring to early autumn, Worthing’s parks and seafront host something most weekends: food festivals in Beach House Park, the Worthing Festival in Homefield Park, Pride and the Rotary Festival in Steyne Gardens, seafood on Windsor Lawns and community festivals at Durrington and Broadwater. Most of these spaces have few toilets of their own, so every event brings its own.
The town is building too. Roffey Homes began enabling works at Union Gardens, 216 new homes on the old Union Place site in the town centre, in early 2026, alongside a steady run of extensions and refurbishments across Goring, Tarring and Broadwater. Toilet Hire Near Me books event toilets, luxury trailers, site toilets and welfare units with a supplier in our Sussex network, then manages delivery, servicing and collection. You have one number to call.

Portaloo, accessible unit, urinal or trailer?
Most Worthing enquiries are for events in a park, on the seafront or in a back garden. These are the four units that cover almost all of them, and when each one is the right choice.
Event portaloos
The workhorse for festivals, fun runs and fêtes. Delivered, set up, serviced during longer events and collected, with no power or water needed.
About one per 50 guests for a short event
Accessible toilets
Level entry, a wider door and grab rails. Every public event should have at least one, placed on firm, level ground beside a path.
At least one at every public event
Urinal units
For food and drink festivals where the bar drives the queues. A multi-bay urinal takes pressure off the cubicles at the busiest times.
Place them near the bar
Luxury trailers
For weddings, garden parties and VIP areas. Flushing toilets, running water and lighting, and they need level ground and power nearby.
1+1 to 4+2, delivery included
For positioning, see our guide on where to place portable toilets at an event. Events in council parks usually need permission from Adur and Worthing Councils, so check vehicle access with them when you book the space.

Who hires portable toilets in Worthing?
Festival and event organisers
Food, music and community festivals in Worthing’s parks, seafront runs and charity days. Our event toilet hire covers delivery, servicing during longer events and collection in one price.
Weddings and garden parties
Marquee receptions in the villages on the edge of the Downs, and big birthdays at home. Measure your gate before booking a luxury trailer: it needs a clear route to where it will stand.
Builders and developers
New homes in the town centre and extensions and refurbishments across the suburbs. Under the CDM Regulations 2015, toilets and washing facilities are needed from the start of work, and a welfare unit covers bigger crews.
Longer projects
Jobs running for months, from refurbishments to site compounds. Long-term toilet hire keeps a steady weekly rate with weekly servicing, and no maximum hire period.

Worthing toilet hire questions
How much does portable toilet hire cost in Worthing?
Event toilets are £140 each with delivery, servicing and collection included, and accessible event toilets are £135. Site toilets are £36 a week with a two-week minimum, plus delivery by postcode. Welfare units start from £200 a week, and luxury toilet trailers run from £780 to £1,050 delivered.
How many toilets do I need for an event in a Worthing park?
As a rough guide, one toilet per 50 guests for an event of up to four hours, or one per 35 to 40 if it runs longer or there’s a bar. Add at least one accessible toilet, and urinals near the bar at food and drink festivals.
Do I need permission to put toilets in a park?
Events in council parks usually need permission from Adur and Worthing Councils, and the toilets form part of your event plan. Check vehicle access with the council when you book the space, so the delivery route is agreed in advance.
Can a luxury trailer go in my garden?
It depends on your gate and access. Trailers need a clear, firm route to where they stand, level ground and power nearby. Measure your gate and driveway before you book, and tell us where you’d like it.
Do you cover Goring, Lancing and Shoreham?
Yes. We cover Worthing and the coast and villages around it, including Goring-by-Sea, Ferring, Durrington, Findon, Lancing, Sompting and Shoreham-by-Sea, as well as the rest of West Sussex.
Who owns and services the units?
Toilet Hire Near Me is a broker. Units come from a vetted local supplier in our Sussex network, and we manage the booking, servicing, swaps and collection as your single point of contact.
