Prices and delivery
How much does portaloo hire cost?
Event toilets are £140 each, including delivery, setup, servicing and collection. Site toilets are £36 per toilet per week with a two-week minimum, serviced weekly, with delivery priced by postcode. Accessible event toilets are £135 each plus delivery. Welfare units start at £200 per week and urinal units at £150. The full breakdown is on our portaloo hire cost page.
Is delivery included in the price?
On event toilets and luxury trailers, yes. Delivery, setup and collection are all in the price. On site toilets, accessible toilets, welfare units and urinals, delivery is added on top and depends on your postcode. Your quote shows the delivery figure up front, so there are no surprises later.
How much is luxury toilet trailer hire?
Luxury trailers run from £780 for a 1+1 to £1,050 for a 4+2, with the 2+1 at £850, 3+1 at £875 and 3+2 at £950. Delivery, siting and collection are included. See the full range on our luxury toilet hire page.
Is a weekend more expensive than a single day?
No. An event toilet costs £140 whether you have it for one day or from Friday to Monday, so a weekend wedding or festival is no dearer than a one-day party.
Is servicing an extra charge?
No. Weekly servicing and waste disposal are included in the weekly rate for site toilets, and event toilets arrive clean and fully stocked. Busy sites that need more than one visit a week can have extra services added to the quote.

Booking and hire periods
How do I book a toilet?
Use our instant quote tool for a price in a few minutes, call us on 07432 332 921, or email enquiries@toilethirenearme.com. Tell us the postcode, the dates and roughly how many people, and we will confirm the units and delivery times.
How long can I hire a toilet for?
Anything from a single day to as long as your project runs. Event hire covers one-day parties through to multi-day festivals. Site toilets have a two-week minimum and can stay on site for months. For ongoing projects, see long-term toilet hire.
How quickly can you deliver?
Often next day, depending on availability in your area. Summer weekends and wedding season book up early, so for events between May and September it pays to book as soon as your date is fixed.
Can I add more toilets or change my dates after booking?
Yes. Get in touch as early as you can and we will check availability with the supplier and update your booking. You deal with us for changes, extra units and collection, so there is only one number to call.
How does Toilet Hire Near Me work?
We are a toilet hire broker. When you ask for a quote, we match your job with a supplier in our network who has the right units free on your dates, then organise delivery, servicing and collection. You deal with us from the first call to the final pick-up.
Toilets, trailers and accessibility
What kind of toilets do you supply?
Standard portaloos for events and building sites, disabled toilets, luxury toilet trailers from 1+1 to 4+2, multi-bay urinals, welfare units, mains connected toilets, hot wash units, portable cabins with toilets and temporary showers.
Are your toilets wheelchair accessible?
Yes. Our accessible units have ground-level entry, a wider door, grab rails and room for a wheelchair to turn. Accessible event toilets are £135 each plus delivery, and they are available for site hire by the week too. For public events we recommend at least one accessible unit.
What is the difference between a luxury trailer and a portaloo?
A luxury trailer has flushing toilets, running water, mirrors and lighting, and separate ladies and gents sides. A portaloo is a single self-contained unit. Trailers suit weddings and hospitality, portaloos suit parties, festivals and sites. Our luxury trailer vs portaloo guide goes through it in detail.
What do the trailer sizes like 3+1 mean?
The first number is ladies’ cubicles and the second is gents’ cubicles, with urinals on the gents’ side. A 3+1 has three ladies’ cubicles and one gents’ cubicle. As a rough guide, a 1+1 suits about 50 guests, a 2+1 about 100, a 3+1 about 150, a 3+2 about 220 and a 4+2 suits 250 guests and up.
What does a luxury trailer need on site?
Level, firm ground and a power supply nearby. The route in matters too, so tell us about narrow lanes, low branches, tight bends or soft field entrances when you book, and we will check access before confirming.
Cleaning and servicing
Do you provide cleaning services?
Yes. Site toilets are serviced weekly, which covers emptying, cleaning and restocking, and waste disposal is included. Event toilets arrive clean and fully stocked, and pump-outs can be arranged during longer events.
Do the toilets come with toilet roll and hand sanitiser?
Yes. Every unit arrives clean and stocked with toilet roll and hand sanitiser, ready to use. See our Spotless Promise for what to expect.
Can I have a toilet that never needs emptying?
Yes, if your site has mains water, drainage and a 240v power supply. A mains connected toilet flushes straight to the sewer, so there are no emptying visits at all. It suits long builds and home renovations.
Construction and building sites
How many toilets does a building site need?
Under HSE workplace guidance: one toilet for up to 5 workers, two for 6 to 25, three for 26 to 50, four for 51 to 75 and five for 76 to 100, with hand washing alongside. Our site toilet ratio guide and site welfare compliance checklist cover the detail.
Do I need a welfare unit or just a portaloo?
A portaloo suits a small crew on a short job. Once you have a regular crew on site, a welfare unit covers toilets, hand washing, a heated rest area and drying space in one towable unit, from £200 per week.
Can you supply several sites through one account?
Yes. We handle single jobs and contractors running several sites at once, with one point of contact for every site, so adding units, swapping them or arranging collections is one call.
Where can a site toilet go on a residential street?
Usually on a driveway or in a front garden. Tell us where the unit can stand when you book. A portaloo is much easier to place on a tight street than a welfare unit that needs parking space.
Events, weddings and festivals
How many toilets do I need for my event?
As a guide, one toilet per 50 guests for events of up to four hours, or one per 35 to 40 for longer events or where there is a bar. Add at least one accessible toilet, and urinals for big crowds. Try the toilet calculator below, or read our event portaloo guide.
Where should toilets be placed at an event?
On level, firm ground that is easy to reach and well lit after dark, away from food areas but not tucked out of sight. Leave access for the delivery vehicle. Our guide on where to place portable toilets goes through it.
Do I need a licence or council permission for event toilets?
It depends on the event and your local council. Larger public events often have toilet numbers set by the licence or safety advisory group. Our HSE and council guidelines explain what usually applies.
Can you supply a festival?
Yes, from small community festivals to large multi-day events, with bulk portaloos, accessible units, urinals and luxury trailers for VIP areas. Our festival toilet hire guide covers planning numbers and layout.
